Cirgenski+Capalino was founded by Christopher Cirgenski and James Capalino to provide real estate and facility development management services to both private firms and not-for-profit organizations. The Principals perceived the demand for a firm that could meet the needs of clients who were seeking a high-quality, hands-on advisor capable of managing projects that were beyond the client’s level of expertise and experience, and remove the mystery from the process so that the client could become fully informed.
Cirgenski+Capalino is the newest member of the affiliated advisory firms that includes Capalino+Company and Beckelman+Capalino. Each member of this triad works independently, yet is able to work with the others as needed to provide a full spectrum of government/community relations advisory and project management services to our clients. Cirgenski+Capalino complements the advocacy and program management skills of the other firms by adding expertise in the planning and managing of both rehabilitation and new construction projects.
Christopher Cirgenski, who is an architect and was a Principal at both Lehr Construction and Fountainhead Construction in New York City, has been responsible for many significant projects in the New York Metropolitan area and throughout the world. James Capalino has held a variety of high-level positions in both New York City government and private industry, and is well known as one of the City’s leading strategic thinkers and problem solvers. Mark Thompson was a senior staff member at several City agencies and worked for nearly thirty years in national and international real estate development and management consulting, specializing in financial analysis, land use, and project management.
